Construct storm drainage improvements behind the properties of 5605 Byrams Ford Road, 5609 Byrams Ford Road, 5611 Byrams Ford Road, 5618 Rinker Road, 5624 Rinker Road, 5630 Rinker Road, 8313 E 56th Street and 8317 E 56th Street consisting of four (4) field inlet bee hive-type drains, one (1) cleanout, 270 linear feet of HDPE pipe, 287 linear feet of HDPE perforated pipe, sodding, erosion control and other necessary appurtenances to complete the project. The project is in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; Council District 5. This Invitation for Bid is limited to those entities that are certified by the City as Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) or that have applied for certification as a SLBE at least 45 days prior to the date of this solicitation and who will have received that certification by the date on which the bid is due. Any bid received from any entity not having submitted a timely application or not certified as a SLBE on the due date shall be rejected and will not be considered. The method by which construction of this project shall be measured and paid in accordance with Bid Schedule. Should there be any conflicts between payment described in individual SPECIFICATION sections and this section, payment shall be made in accordance with this section. Any work shown on the Drawings and/or described in the SPECIFICATIONS but not specifically covered by the bid items shall be included in other items of work. The CONTRACTOR shall order one project sign(s) (SEWER IMPROVEMENTS or WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT or STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS) as well as one lower placard(s) to accompany the project signs before construction starts. In addition, CONTRACTOR shall order one "Thank You KC!" sign(s) and one accompanying lower placard(s) to be installed upon construction completion, under the direction of the OWNER's representative. CONTRACTOR can utilize any printer and shall pick-up project sign(s) at the printer location.
