Renovation of an educational facility in Kansas City, Missouri. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
“The owner has selected a Construction Manager. Project 1 At the MCC-Longview Campus, the project will build an addition to and renovate existing facilities to create the space needed to expand the current automotive program into a comprehensive Automotive Institute and to create a Center for Entrepreneurship with dedicated spaces for each program and a variety of spaces shared by both programs. Project 2 At the MCC-Maple Woods Campus, the project will construct approximately 10,000 square feet of new academic space to support the plant science facility needs of MCC's Agricultural Institute. The new spaces will include classrooms, plant science labs, greenhouse space and both indoor and outdoor student gathering areas. In addition, the new facility will have restrooms, faculty offices, and an elevator. All questions regarding this RFQ must be directed to online prior to noon, January 25, 2023 We intend to develop the design and construction schedule for each project in cooperation with the architect and CMAR. Goal for construction completion is summer 2025 for the Longview project and calendar year 2024 for the Maple Woods project.
