The gross length of the project is 1,455.69 feet and the net length is 362.85 feet (0.069 miles). The work consists of removing the existing approach slabs and abutments and replacing with semi-integral approaches and abutments, removing and replacing the west abutment wingwalls, jacking and repositioning existing bearings, drainage improvements and slopewall repair at the bridge over the Vermilion River. The work also includes the removal and replacement of two 48" O corrugated metal pipe culverts with one 6'-0" x 5'-0" precast concrete box culvert with approach roadway work thereto.
