Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and transportation facility.
This project includes general construction work associated with all four levels of the airport, with most of the work in the baggage claim and ticket lobby areas of Terminal 1 at MSP. At the lower level we will be modifying utilities to install a rated ceiling in the exit corridor. At ground level the project will install two new baggage carousels and new finishes. There is an extensive amount of demolition and new ceiling work for the entire south half of the terminal. At main level the project will finish the remaining Delta ticket counters. The project also extends and remodels the existing South Checkpoint increasing it from six to nine checkpoint lanes. The checkpoint expansion includes building a new floor to ceiling curtainwall and vertical lift door matching the North Checkpoint. Several concession spaces are modified to facilitate the expansion of the checkpoint and the mezzanine work above. At the mezzanine level, a new cantilevered walkway is to be constructed for improved tenant access.
