Bidders wanting further information, interpretation or clarification of the Contract Documents must make their request in writing to Scott Kendall, Purchasing Manager by 12:00pm (noon) CDT on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 Glenview Drive (West) Waycrest Drive to Honey Lane Street reconstruction along Glenview Drive from North Richland Hills City limits to Honey Lane for approximately 3,100 LF. Project will include replacement of the existing asphalt roadway with a concrete roadway, construction of sidewalk and barrier free ramps, replacement of water lines and replacement of sanitary sewer lines. In the event the total contract amount exceeds $100,000, the Contractor shall be required to execute a performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contract price; if the total contract amount exceeds $50,000 the contractor shall be required to execute a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the total contact price, each in standard forms for this purpose, guaranteeing faithful performance of work and guaranteeing payment to all persons supply labor and materials or furnishing any equipment in the execution of the contract. It is agreed that this contract shall not be in effect until such performance and payment bonds are furnished and approved by the City of North Richland Hills. No exceptions to this provision allowed. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are encouraged to participate in the City of North Richland Hills bid process. Representatives from DBE Companies should identify themselves as such and submit a copy of their Certification. The City of North Richland Hills reserves the right to reject in part or in whole all bids submitted, and to waive any technicalities for the best interest of the City of North Richland Hills.
