The Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority is requesting submittal of electronic proposals regarding the Authority's Inland Empire Regional Composting Facility located at 12645 Sixth Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739 for provision of "on call / as needed" minor construction and maintenance services for use by the Authority's staff within the Authority's facility during a two-year period with options to extend the Contract term as far out as five (5) additional years. The Inland Empire Regional Composting Authority (Authority) has need, from time-to-time, to procure services for emergency maintenance and repair based on the ability for a contractor to respond immediately or for expedited proposals to facilitate work, generally under $20,000 per Task. Questions regarding this solicitation should be directed via online prior to close-of-business on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 to: Mr. Robert Wallin, Contracts Administrator II The term of this Contract shall extend from the date of the Project Manager's Notice to Proceed and terminate in two (2) years, unless agreed to by both parties, reduced to writing, and formally incorporated as an amendment to this Contract. Authority reserves the right to extend optional one-year term extensions to this Contract, subject to mutual negotiation. Before execution of a $25,000 or greater "public works" task order by the Authority, the successful Offeror shall file with the Authority, a performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the task order price to guarantee faithful performance of all work, within the time prescribed, in a manner satisfactory to the Authority, and that all materials and workmanship shall be free from original or developed defects. Before execution of a $25,000 or greater "public works" task order by the Authority, the successful Offeror shall file with the Authority, on the forms herewith, a payment bond (material and labor bond) in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the task order price, to satisfy claims of material suppliers and of mechanics and laborers employed by the Contractor to perform the work. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any informalities in any proposal, postpone the project, or any portion thereof, if such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Authority.
