Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.
DOT is seeking a contractor to renovate the Ames DOT Repair Shop paint both and wash bay all the materials, equipment and labor to be included as per the plans and specifications. Project period is estimated to begin December 15,2020 and completion on or before March 5, 2021 This is project is exempt from state sales tax. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Jody McNaughton (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Jody McNaughton in writing preferable through the ION wave Bid system.
