The existing control panels are displaying signs of heat damage and the dip switches are stiff and brittle feeling when operated. The light bars have been upgraded, but the cab interior lighting could be improved. The elevator power unit was serviced in 2017 but generally, the elevator is operating as originally installed. Current concerns include the travel cables, replacement parts availability for new components and the assured overall safety of elevator operation. We anticipate use of the freight elevator for transportation of large gas chambers/containers to the 3rd floor for analytical laboratory work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
