Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in Modesto, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 15,500-square-foot service station / car wash facility.

The Authority is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors (Contractor) to provide a design-build team to construct a maintenance facility to be located at 1612 Sisk Rd. Modesto, CA 95350. Bidders will assemble a design-build team to complete each phase of the project and deliver to the Authority a complete "turn key" building. This will include the drawings, engineering, structural, site electrical design and all other implied resources. The scope of work consists of the construction/erection of one (1) 100'x155' pre-fabricated steel insulated building with 3- roll-up doors and 5- man doors. Proposals shall include a detailed schedule of values with an all-inclusive Base price, with separate line items for additional add/alternatives. Each team is encouraged to submit, any cost saving suggestions for consideration. Please also submit a schedule and time line for construction and completion. A site plan is provided herein to provide general layout and orientation of the building. The winning bidder will be expected to develop a complete site plan only for the building footprint to be submitted in conjunction with the building permit process. The general specifications call for a post frame building. It is understood that proposals for a metal frame building will apply the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines. The Authority is under a timeline for the completion of the project and expenditure of funds. Bidders acknowledge this time frame of competition by submitting a proposal for the project. The exact starting and ending dates for this project have yet to be defined. The Authority estimates that this project will start in December 2020 and will be completed before March 2021. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to install the prefabricated Maintenance Shop as described in Exhibit I. The Authority is not responsible for actual dimension and quantities required to complete the installation.
