Site work for a water / sewer project in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

In general, the project consists of Removal and resurfacing of spalled and unsuitable concrete from the downstream face of dam. Injection grouting of existing concrete dam. Removal and replacement of left abutment. Removal and replacement of existing gate system and stop logs. This project is funded in part by financial assistance from The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Municipal Dam Grant Program. The Department has reviewed the Trout Lake Dam Plans and Specifications (dated June 19, 2020) submitted by Ayres Associates, Inc. These plans and specifications detail the proposed repair to the primary spillway of the Trout Lake Dam located in the Township of Lyndon, on a navigable section of Gilmore Creek, and located in the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 5 East in Juneau County, Wisconsin The Dam is owned by Trout Lake District, PO Box 34, Lyndon Station, WI 53944. The original, proposed construction plans for Trout Lake Dam were approved July 24, 1926 by the Railroad Commission of Wisconsin. The Trout Lake Dam is a large dam which has an estimated low hazard rating and a structural height of 16 ft. The maximum storage capacity of the Trout Lake Dam is 90 acre-feet of water. On October 24, 2014, an inspection was performed by Department staff and a summary report outlining needed repairs was completed by Department Staff on November 7, 2014. Plans and specifications for repairing deteriorated conditions were submitted to the Department on November 5, 2019 under the professional seal of Christopher T. Goodwin, P.E., Ayres Associates. Revised Plans and Specifications for the dam reconstruction were prepared and submitted by Ayres Associates, Inc. on June 19, 2020. The principal spillway of this dam features a 44 ft. long fixed crest spillway with a 4 ft. wide stop log spillway set into the north end of the fixed crest spillway section. The Plans for repair of the Trout Lake Dam principal spillway include: o Removal and resurfacing of spalled and unsuitable concrete from the downstream face of dam. o Installation of cofferdam to facilitate concrete and spillway construction. o Injection grouting of existing concrete dam, o Removal and replacement of the left abutment wall, o Removal and replacement of existing gate system and stop logs. o Backfilling and re-grading of disturbed areas due to construction activities There are no established maximum or minimum water levels for the Trout Lake Dam impoundment. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. The undersigned agrees, if awarded the contract, to start work after "Notice to Proceed" and to substantially complete the work on or before December 1, 2021
