Renovation of a municipal facility in Coon Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
General work includes the replacement of the East power transformer and bus equipment at the Coon Rapids Main Substation. Replacement of bus equipment includes GOAB switches, fused disconnect switches, and lightning arresters. Work includes coordination of the removal of the existing power transformer and coordination of the installation of the new power transformer. Work also includes complete wiring of power and control conductors from the new transformer to the switchgear in the control building and control conductors between the switchgear and control panel in the generator building. Work also includes replacing GOAB switches, fused disconnect switches, and lightning arresters at the Iron Hills Substation. Completion Date: 06/15/2021 The Board will meet at Coon Rapids Municipal Utilities on December 17th, 2020 at 7:00 A.M., at which time and place the said Board will take action on the received proposals
