Site work and paving for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
***As of January 22, 2021 project has been awarded with the amount of 2,744,956.35. Scope of Work of the Contract includes construction of water, sanitary, drainage & paving facilities. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Completion time not to exceed 100 calendar days. The project site, about 846 acres in size, is located north of FM 529 and east of Westgreen Boulevard in Harris County, Texas. 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe, all depths, (including air testing, mandrel testing, bedding and backfill), complete in place Sanitary sewer manhole, standard depth, complete in place. Connect proposed 8-inch waterline to existing 8-inch waterline, including removal of existing 2-inch blow-off and 8-inch plug, complete in place. 8-inch C-900 by Certa-Lok (or approved equal) restrained joint waterline (including fittings, bedding, backfill, and testing), complete in place. Install 3-inch schedule 80 electrical sleeves, including 2' stub-up past the ROW, per detail sheet 7, complete in place, as directed by the Engineer.
