Each bid shall be accompanied by bid proposal security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond, made payable to the order of King County Hospital District No. 2 for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such bid proposal security7. The bid is for performing all Work including furnishing and. installing equipment in accordance with the bid documents, plans and specifications. In order for this bid to be considered responsive, the general contractor, electrical and mechanical contractors must have successfully completed at least two care hospital renovation contracts in the last five years which involved performing the construction while the building remained in operation and had project construction costs of at least one million dollars. This is a public works project, and therefore must comply with prevailing wage requirements. The work includes but is not limited to: * Phased renovations upgrading finishes and enabling the installation of: * A CT Scanner and X-Ray equipment in Diagnostic Imaging * A CT Scanner in Radiation Oncology. Otherwise, the bid proposal security shall be forfeited to the Owner The Owner reserves the right to waive all informalities, or to reject any or all bids, and no contract shall be let in excess of the estimated, cost ofsuch project. No bidders may withdraw their bids after the hour set for the receipt thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date and time for receipt of the bids
