Site work and new construction of a civil project in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,100-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project involves construction of a 1,100 square foot masonry/wood truss booster station building with associated mechanical, process piping, electrical, heating, ventilating, and site work. Water booster pumps and a standby engine-generator are included. The following are approximate quantities of some of the items that will be included in the bid. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. All bids must be submitted electronically and all bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the City of Cedarburg in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to the City of Cedarburg as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted electronically . All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be submitted and accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. The City of Cedarburg has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price.
