The project includes the construction of roundabout improvements at the intersection of Kalaheo Avenue and Kailua Road. This consists of reconstruction of the existing roundabout to provide a concrete truck apron, new raised and at-grade shared use path, concrete speed tables, new raised concrete medians, permeable pavers, curb ramps, installation of roadway signs, adjustment of overhead utilities, street lighting, landscaping, drainage improvements and adjustment of water and sewer utilities.
