Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Angola, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; swimming pool; theater / auditorium; and office development.

Waugh Elementary School 100 High Street Angola, NY 14006 Lake Shore Middle School 8855 Erie Road Angola, NY 14006 1. Phase 3 work will occur at the High School, John T. Waugh Elementary School, and the Middle School. 2. At the High School, site upgrades include reconfiguration of the parking lots and bus loop, and sidewalk replacements. Building upgrades include reconfiguration and renovation of the Life Skills, Science, Art, and Music spaces; renovation of the Auditorium; abatement of affected spaces; replacement of classroom display boards; installation of pool covers; upgrades to the fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide detection system; and various other finish, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. 3. At John T. Waugh Elementary, site work includes upgrades to the parking lots, and replacement of the sidewalks and front stairs. Building upgrades include the creation of a secure entrance, renovation of the Main Office, minor abatement, finish upgrades, providing air conditioning to the second floor, installation of a new roof access hatch, replacement of electrical panel boards, and various other mechanical, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. 4. At the Middle School, building upgrades include the installation of pool covers Bid bond payable to the owner shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days following the opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities in connection with any bid. Bidders or subcontractors who return all Bidding and Contract Documents in good condition within ten (10) days after award of bid and have remitted payment, will receive a full refund of the deposit. All potential bidders must self perform a minimum of 20% of the work associated with the contract that they submit bids for. Proof of self performance requirements shall be provided following the bid as required in the Instructions to Bidders. All questions, interpretations, clarifications, etc. pertaining to the bid documents must be made in the separate form provided on the next page and emailed to both Jill Burnett at JillB@youngandwright.com and John Robinson at JRobinson@campuscmg.com with the email subject Lake Shore CSD Capital Improvement Project 2017 - Phase 3 by 2:00 pm on December 9, 2020.
