As of February 15, 2021, an award is still pending. Norfolk Southern Corporation (NS) will receive sealed bids for the NS Bison Yard Car Maintenance Facility in Buffalo, NY involving the construction of a new single track Rail Car Maintenance Facility consisting of a maintenance bay, material storage, office, break areas, restrooms, and locker rooms. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% *Addendum 1, 2 and 3 have been uploaded. *Addendum No. 04 has been uploaded for the project and you will need to access it accordingly. This Addendum contains a LOT of Revised Site Drawings and ADDITIONAL RFIs as well as many Revised Electrical Drawings. *Addendum No. 05 has been uploaded for the project and you will need to access it accordingly. This Addendum contains a revised electrical drawing and a few RFI's. The bid date remains 01.22.21. They have not issued any additional information regarding the cranes that are shown on the plans as jib cranes, but the spec issued via addenda calls for overhead trolley.
