Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Annapolis, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
This project will construct a new, modern Fire Training Academy that meets the needs & requirements of the department and residents of the county. It will provide adequate apparatus storage, classroom space, administrative space, a burn building, a drill tower, space for a driver's training course, and other spaces/areas related to training Fire and EMS providers. The site will be located on 95 acres of County owned property at 1791 Generals Highway This project is included in the county’s FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program. As of November 19, 2024, further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
