Design-Build Services for Transportation and Safety Building - East Bank Chilled Water Loop Connection. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. Question Cutoff Date 12/8/2020 12:00 pm (CT) University of Minnesota Capital Project Management is requesting proposals for designbuild services for installation of district chilled water piping to serve the Transportation and Safety Building on the Twin Cities East Bank Campus. The Transportation and Safety Building is located at 511 Washington Avenue SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 This project will connect the existing Transportation Safety Building (TSB) facilityethylene glycol based chilled water system to campus central plant in Keller Hall, while retaining the existing chiller for short-term peaking duty until new campus capacity is commissioned. Provide and install piping, a simplex heat exchanger, replace existing duplex pumps for new duty points, and modify control components to support pumping systems on the primary (district) and secondary (building) side of the system.
