The additional floor area will capture 8,642 gross sq. ft. providing a flexible state-of-the-art research facility while promoting collaboration between students and faculty. The addition is proposed as an infill to the courtyard located between the south and west wings as well as the southeast side of the building footprint. The attached CVRTI feasibility study provides additional information of project site constraints, vision and parameters. Total project budget for the proposed "infill" concept is $5,546,753.
