Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Destin, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

The City of Destin, Florida, is currently receiving sealed competitive Bids for the demolition of three multi-story residential buildings for the City of Destin. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or portions thereof, to waive minor defects and informalities in the process, to accept the Bid(s) or take any other actions deemed by the City to be in the City's best interest. Project Completion By Friday April 16, 2021 Project implementation for this scope of work under this RFB includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required for construction including any permitting, compliance with all federal, state and local codes and construction of the project. All new construction shall be completed as indicated in the construction documents. All work shall meet City standards and be performed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer or his designee. All materials and equipment shall be subject to inspection by the City prior to incorporation into the final work. Providing advice on matters and participate in the planning of projects related to the demolition and clean-up of the multi-story residential buildings and appurtenances located at: 2942 Scenic Hwy 98 -five townhome structure 2968 Scenic Hwy 98 2970 Scenic Hwy 98 Creating, reviewing, and revising demolition and clean-up plans. Preparing necessary reports to the City related to the project's progress. Providing project management and inspections during the preparation, demolition, and clean-up and providing any requested reports to the Zoning/Building Administrator, or their designee. Professional support and advice to the City's Department of Community Development. Providing other related services as requested by the City of Destin. Attending City meetings, public hearings and conferences with funding and regulatory agencies, if necessary. Due to the age of the five-unit townhome (2942 Scenic 98), an asbestos investigation report must be completed to determine presence of asbestos prior to demolition of the building. If asbestos is present, asbestos abatement will be required in accordance with all local state and federal guidelines prior to demolition.
