Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lemont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
College Township (CT) is accepting sealed bids for the Pike Street Traffic Calming & Accessibility Project in the Village of Lemont. The Contract includes: Construction of traffic calming and pedestrian accessibility improvements along a three-block section of Pike Street, a Township road, from Elmwood Street to Dale Street including erosion & sedimentation control, full depth roadway reconstruction, curb, sidewalk replacement, stormwater inlets and pipes, bus stops and street tree replacement. Work will include installation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic controls through the work area and establishment of a detour route. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to College Township in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. A copy of the Prevailing Wage Determination is included in the bidding documents. CT reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. Conditional award of the contract is anticipated to occur at a College Township Council meeting to be held on Thursday March 17, 2022 at 7:00pm
