Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lemont, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes milling and resurfacing of 8,240 SY of roadway. Resurfacing to include 490 tons of 9.5mm leveling course, 740 tons of 9.5 mm wearing course, and 8,240 SY of fiber mat interlayer, 500 LF of guiderail, 350 tons of R-5 Rip Rap Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid amount made payable to College Township. The cost estimate of this transportation project is over $100,000 and is therefore subject to the Pa. Prevailing Minimum Wage Act. The College Township Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Question Deadline 05/06/2024
