Request for Proposals (RFP) for Bus Farebox System Replacement, with Installation, Spare Parts and Maintenance and Support for Five Years with Three Five- Year Options. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than 4:30p.m., Chicago time, August 27, 2020, via Bonfire. Questions will not be accepted after this time and date. Any contract resulting from this bid is subject to a financial assistance between the Chicago Transit Authority, the United States Department of Transportation and the Regional Transportation Authority. Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations and affirmative action requirements of the Federal Transit Administration and Illinois Human Rights Commission. All bidders will be required to certify that they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors.
