Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Temecula, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Contract Documents to construct for the above-stated project.The general items of work include:Roadway rehabilitation of Ynez Road between Winchester Road and approximately 860 feet north of County Center Drive, Equity Drive between Ynez Road and County Center Drive, County Center Drive between Ynez Road and Equity Drive and Winchester Road between Nicolas Road and Eastern City Limits. Work will generally consist of full width or edge grinding of existing asphalt, some localize dig outs, preparation of grade, and placement of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete Pavement. Work also includes reconstruction of ADA ramps, remove and replace curb and gutter, adjustment of existing utilities to grade, installation and removal of temporary video detection and restoration of existing striping, and detector loops. Majority of the work will be done at night. The classification of Contractor's license required in the performance of this Contract is a Class A or C-12. Duration - 60 Working days Question deadline - Dec 15, 2020 5.00 PM The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Materials Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the amount of the Contract. All bids shall be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) A signed electronic bidder's bond by an admitted surety submitted via PlanetBids; (2) A signed bidder's bond by an admitted surety insurer received by the City at the address set forth below; or (3) cash, a cashier's check, or certified check received by, and made payable to the City. The required bidder's security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. In accordance with Government Code Section 53069.85, Contractor agrees to forfeit and pay to City the sum of $1,000 per day for each calendar day completion is delayed beyond the time allowed pursuant to Paragraph 4 of this Contract. Such sum shall be deducted from any payments due to or to become due to Contractor. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, accept or reject alternates, and waive irregularities or informalities in the bid and bidding. The award of the Contract, if it be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with the requirements prescribed.
