Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Pecos, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,236-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Scope of work includes the new construction of a Fire/EMS Station. As of March 28, 2022, all trades have been awarded and construction is underway. Reeves County ESD 1 & 2 are a joint entity, so this is technically one project. Bids were due back towards the end of November from subcontractors. There are actually 3 Fire Stations: Station 1 (Pecos): 25,236 SF Station 2 (Orla): 16,532 SF Station 3 (Balmorhea): 17,699 SF Anticipated award date February 16 2021. Anticipates having a short list by the 20th of this month. Request for Proposals - Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). Reeves County Emergency Services Districts Nos. 1 and 2 are accepting Proposals for Construction Manager-At-Risk (CMAR) services from contractors for two proposed new Fire and EMS Stations to be located in Pecos, TX and near Orla, TX, respectively.
