Renovation is anticipated to be completed to life safety standards under the governing code at the time of construction. The costs of the project will be annouced at a later date. As of December 8, 2020 this project will be the eighth project in the eight-year construction plan. The owners anticipate engaging Owner’s Representative Services, which is expected to happen March 2021. Pending Multnomah County Board approval, the owners anticipate using Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) project delivery, with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and Target Value design. The procurement period is anticipated to start in June 30, 2022. Construction is set to start November 2025. The project should be completed by May 31, 2026.
