In addition, the specifications include Building Automation System (BAS) upgrades as defined including but not limited to all new equipment and the balancing of ventilation and hydronic systems (by the installer). A virtual, non-mandatory prebidder's meeting will be scheduled and will address both divisions of work. The meeting login information will be posted separately as an amendment to this posting. The project manual consists of University requirements, technical specifications and drawings in additional to all attachments posted to this bid. Brief Description: On the campus, GSU has an independent building the Goodman Malamuth Technology (GMT) Building. The building is a secure/swipe card access building that includes office space, the Information Technology Services (ITS) division, network and telecom infrastructure, the Veteran's Resource Center and the Testing Center. This project will upgrade the existing mechanical systems as specified including, but not limited to boiler, VFDs, pumps, etc. The University is currently renting a temporary chiller for the facility. Approval of a potential contract will be anticipated by end of February 2021. Because of the security required for the building, all workers will need to have completed the prescribed background clearances prior to being allowed to work on campus.
