Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in El Monte, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project is located on 5.6 acres of the MacLaren Hall site in the City of El Monte. The new park will include a regulation-size soccer field (softball diamond and smaller soccer fields superimposed), basketball court, tennis court, walking path, fitness area, restrooms, picnic areas, shade structure, outdoor classroom/performance space, ecological/sustainability educational features, children's play areas, a water feature, and security and field lighting. All existing buildings, structures and utilities in the overall 13.6-acre site will be demolished as part of the park project. Bid security is required of each Proposer at the time of the proposal submittal and shall be made payable to Los Angeles County, in an amount of ten percent of the Proposer's Base Price Proposal, in the form of cash, a certified check, a cashier's check, or a bid bond issued by a California-admitted Surety. Proposers must submit questions in writing and request information for this solicitation by 14 calendar days prior to the submittal deadline.
