The primary design of the cable system shall follow the specifications set forth by RCBE, in that unshielded twisted pair (UTP) copper cable will be used for connections to information outlets and fiber optic cable will be used to connect an equipment room to communication closet. Distribution frames may be floor or wall mounted as well as open or enclosed as determined for this project.
