The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities in any bid. To fully complete the PROJECT within 120 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Furnish, install, maintain, and remove temporary erosion and pollution control devices as required during the construction of the project. This work shall consist of stripping and stockpiling of topsoil, spreading topsoil over all disturbed areas and seeding and fertilizing of all disturbed areas. Trench excavation and backfill shall consist of all trench excavation, backfill, compaction and grading required for installation of pipe in whatever types of materials that may be encountered. This item shall also include necessary clearing; preparation of right-of-way; removal and disposal of debris; all necessary sheeting, shoring and protection work; preparation of subgrades; pumping and de-watering as necessary or required; removal of excess excavation from the site; and final grading and clean-up of work areas except where covered under other parts of these specifications. WATER SYSTEMS- This section includes construction and installation of water pipe and fittings as shown on the plans and described in these specifications. All pipe shall be installed in accordance with requirements of section "Trenching and Backfilling" included in these specifications. CAST IN PLACE CONCRETE- This section shall consist of furnishing and producing Portland Cement concrete in accordance with these specifications. Concrete shall consist of a mixture of Portland Cement, water and mixed aggregate or coarse and fine aggregate with or without air entraining or other admixtures in accordance with the Plans and these specifications.
