Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Blue Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Selected contractor will construct the two restroom facilities as outlined in the specifications within this document, The selection of a Contractor is the purpose of this solicitation. Project Location - Wilbur Young Park - 1100 SE Adams Dairy Parkway, Blue Springs, MO 64014 Blue Springs Park, 2204 SW South Avenue, Blue Springs, MO 64015. All work Covered by the contract documents shall be completed on an agreed upon date with the awarded contractor with a target date prior to July 1, 2022. The Blue Springs Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the construction of new restroom facilities at Wilbur Young Park and Blue Springs Park. The attached drawings will provide the basis of the bid for each facility. The Facility will be built on City owned property located at Wilbur Young Park, 1100 SE Adams Dairy Parkway, Blue Springs, MO 64014. And Blue Springs Park, 2204 SW South Ave., Blue Springs, MO. Facility layout should follow the Civil Plans included as Exhibit B. It is understood that the actual building area could be adjusted, based upon the recommendations of the contractor and with staff approval following the opening of proposals. In addition to the construction of the two restroom facilities, the proposal shall include all other items listed below. Access to the site shall be allowed from the existing parking lots that surround each site. Temporary construction fencing will be required to protect the project and others who may use the park during the construction process. The contractor shall provide the work and materials necessary to construct the Restroom facilities completely, including all construction materials, footings, sidewalks, slab floor, utilities and site preparation, fixtures and site restoration. All work and materials necessary to meet the project requirements as outlined in Exhibit A and B shall be included in the submitted proposals. All damage to existing pavement and grounds is to be repaired at contractor's expense, if any.
