Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Blue Springs, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Blue Springs Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the contruction of a 60' x 100' x 12' Titan Steel Metal Building. The City already has in its possession the new building kit and seeking a contractor to erect the building, pour all footings, slabs, utilities, site prep and site restoration.The building will be constructed directly south of the existing maintenance building and connected to the back maintenance lot. The Blue Springs Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the construction of a 60' x 100'X 12' Titan Steel Metal Building. The City already has in its possession the new building kit and seeking a contractor to erect the building, pour all footings, slabs, utilities, site prep and site restoration. The project is located at Pink Hill Park, 2715 NW Park Road Park, Blue Springs, MO 64015. The building will be constructed directly south of the existing maintenance building and connected to the back maintenance lot. The Facility will be built on City owned property located at Pink Hill Park, 2715 NW Park Road Park, Blue Springs, MO 64015. Facility layout should follow the Civil Plans included as Exhibit B. It is understood that the actual building area could be adjusted, based upon the recommendations of the contractor and with staff approval following the opening of proposals. In addition to the construction of the Titan Steel Metal Building, the proposal shall include all other items listed below. Access to the site shall be allowed from the existing parking lot that surrounds the site. Temporary construction fencing will be required to protect the project and others who may use the park during the construction process. The contractor shall provide the work necessary to construct the Titan Steel Metal Building kit completely, including the footings, drives, slab floor, utilities and site preparation and restoration. All work and materials necessary to meet the project requirements as outlined in Exhibit A and B shall be included in the submitted proposals. All work covered by the contract documents shall be completed on an agreed upon date with the awarded contractor with a target date of prior to May 30, 2022. The selected contractor will construct the Titan Steel Building Structure Kit and all associated items and work as outlined in the specifications within this document. The selection of a contractor is the purpose of this solicitation.Obtaining REP Documents and Plans: All documents and plans associated with this Request for Proposals are included within this document. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of proposals, shall be directed to the Director of Parks and Recreation. It shall be understood, however, that no specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any "or equal" products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make award in the interest of the Owner. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
