Is seeking professional design services for the replacement of the High Density Archival Storage System at the State Historical Building (SHB). Questions, requests for clarification, and suggested changes from Respondents due to Construction Procurement Tuesday, December 15, 2020 @ 5:00 pm DAS is currently seeking design services from qualified firms for a project consisting of replacing the existing high density archival storage system, and upgrading the electrical and lighting systems in the archival area as needed. The existing high density archival storage system uses a combination of S/3 MA Spacesaver mechanical assist shelving and S/4 E Spacesaver power assist shelving. The Department of Cultural Affairs is applying for a planning grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to design the upgrades to the high density archival storage system. Proposals should include costs for design, bidding and construction administration phases. The selected design firm shall honor the pricing submitted with this proposal for the design phase of the project, with the possibility of negotiating fees for bidding and construction administration phases in the future.
