Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Production Wells Permanent Emergency Generators Project a Federally Funded Project. This project consists of providing and installing diesel powered emergency backup generators and completing associated electrical and site improvements at 4 different municipal well site. The project includes but is not limited to removing existing improvements on site, re-routing existing conduit and boxes, installing new conduit and boxes, concrete flat work, constructing the generator pads, and replacement of removed improvements. The contractor will be required to coordinate with the City to minimize shutdowns at the project site, most notably the Riverview Lift Station that is to be supported by the new generator at Well 24. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto. All contractors must comply with NRS 338.01165 for this project, unless a modification, waiver, or exemption applies. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that the responsive bidder must possess a minimum of a Class A or C2 with appropriate sub-classifications or subcontractors. All Contractors license shall be in good standing and issued by the Nevada State Contractor's Board at the time of the bid. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department.
