As of January 26, 2026 Project has not been awarded/ Award will be on February Martin County is seeking bids from licensed Contractors for the removal and replacement of perimeter security fencing and related improvements. The project includes removing the existing dual perimeter security fence and fence motion alarm system, installing a new single perimeter security fence with concrete flatwork connecting the new fence to the existing subsurface concrete rat wall, replacing the fence motion alarm system, and constructing a new front entry concrete block barrier and sign wall. Bid must be accompanied by the County's Bid Bond form, including those applicable to the sureties for the Statutory Payment Bond and Common Law Performance Bond (upload copy of bid bond to Euna OpenBids (DemandStar) if e-bidding). The bond shall be on the Bid Guaranty form provided by the County, with Power of Attorney Affidavit attached, in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount (base bid plus any and all alternates). Question Deadline 12/08/2025 at 5:00 PM ET. Every request for interpretation shall be in writing and e-mailed to Purchasing at pur_div@martin.fl.us. Monday the week prior to the bid due date. Substantial completion shall be within 60 calendar days (from issuance of Notice to Proceed). Liquidated damages shall be $250.00 per day. The cost estimate for this project is $1,500,000.00. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids when (i) such rejection is in the interest of the County; (ii) such bid is void per se; or (iii) the bid contains any irregularities, provided, however, that the County reserves the right to waive any minor irregularities and to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid determined by the County.
