**As of January 12, 2021, project was awarded to Darren Melcer's Custom Hay Baling & Dozer Work. CR 236 Widening Project. A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent to five percent of the bid price. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. All questions regarding this bid solicitation must be in writing and may be sent by email to melissa.abney@co.leon.tx.us or debbie.reeder@co.leon.tx.us or faxed to 903-536-5801 to the attention of Melissa B. Abney no later than four business days prior to the due date. It is the responsibility of each vendor to examine the entire bid package, seek clarification in writing and review their bid for accuracy before submitting. The County will not be bound by any information conveyed verbally. Leon County hereby reserves the right to award on basis of overall cost and to accept or reject any or all bids and waive all formalities and technicalities.
