Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
- The proposal shall be submitted with the attached Bid Cover Sheet completed in its entirety. - Warranty information, when applicable, shall also be included & submitted. - All work to be performed during normal working hours. - If bid price is over $25,000 or more, bidder must be signatory to relevant union, per terms of the Various Trades Contract and Project Labor Agreement. - If bid price is over $75,000, you MUST include your MBE/WBE subs and relevant forms at time of bid. Scope of work: - Remove breaching, casing, and necessary piping. - Separate and remove all 17 intermediate sections. - Remove rope gaskets and seals. - Clean gasket/seal surfaces. - Check for cracks using wet magnetic particle testing procedure. - Replace any cracked sections with new. - Thoroughly clean surfaces before installation of new gaskets and seals. - Install removed piping. - Assemble sections and hydrotest using Weil McLain factory specified procedures. - Upon good hydro, assemble casing and breaching. - All work performed according to CPS Specifications
