For information concerning the proposed Work contact Jacobs Engineering telephone: 623 3992078: email: jeffpittsjacobscom Booster Pump Station 1: 9674 Meridian Blvd, Englewood, CO 80112 Booster Pump Station 2: 3532 W Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80134 The completed Work will provide Owner with the facilities necessary to convert their secondary disinfectant from free chlorine to monochloramine. This will allow for direct use of WISE water and will allow for interconnections with neighboring water utilities that are using (or plan to be using) a chloramine disinfectant residual. The Work will include new sodium hypochlorite and Liquid Ammonium Sulfate (LAS) storage and feed systems, analyzers, chemical storage room additions to Booster Pump Stations 1 and 2, and pipeline contactors in the yard at Booster Pump Stations 1 and 2. The Work will include retrofitting portions of existing Booster Pump Stations 1 and 2 to provide new process piping configuration and chemical feed capabilities. The Work will include construction of two new structures with drilled concrete pier foundations. Driveway improvements and a new fire line with hydrant will be installed at Booster Pump Station 1 to address fire code requirements associated with the new Chemical Storage Building. The Work will include obtaining all necessary permits except the Grading, Erosion and Sediment Control (GESC) Permit, which has been obtained by the Owner. This may include a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) permit if a crane or concrete pump is utilized because the Booster Pump Station 1 project site is under the flight path for Centennial Airport. The contractor will be responsible for the permit and Owner will support the coordination as required. The Contractor will be responsible for installing and removing temporary erosion control features when authorized by Douglas County.
