The work includes of the furnishing of all labor , materials ,equipment, and service required for the complete construction of the project .The work includes removal and replacement of existing gabion wall ,with associated earthwork and grading , relocating and covering existing landfill material onsite , cleaning out the existing silting basin and repairing the fallen drainage standpipe, replace and rerouting the storm drain system. The Mussel Rock Landfill (Site) is a closed Class 3 municipal landfill on the Pacific Coast in Daly City. The Mussel Rock Landfill Project will take place in two phases. The first phase will consist of excavating the landfill cap and upper portions of the landfill that have migrated downslope and are now pressed against a gabion wall that compromises the integrity of the wall. A 300-foot long portion of the gabion wall at the base of the landfill that support the hillside will be replaced following excavation in accordance with the design plans The project will begin April 2021 and be completed by September 2021.
