The project consists of installing new rooftop units, new automatic bypass dampers, new VAV diffusers, new terminal box units, and a new ductless split system. Installing new building management system (BMS) and tying in all of the new hvac equipment as well as all of the existing/remaining units. Provide new CO2 sensors for ventilation control and tie into new BMS system as well. Integrate new BMS system into the building supervisory system (BSS) located at 80 East High Street, Somerville, NJ and mapping all new control points and graphics onto the BSS. In accordance with the Governor's directives, the County of Somerset offices are closed to the public, but still operational. The Somerset County Purchasing Division is maintaining Social Distancing; therefore, it is encouraged to Mail in your bid responses in a timely manner via USPS, UPS and FedEx, etc. If they must be hand-delivered, potential bidders may drop them off at the Main Entrance of the County's Administration Building, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876 and a Sheriff's Officer will contact the Purchasing Division to receive the responses. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder's contract. All Bid Addenda will be issued on the County website at www.co.somerset.nj.us and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-23(c)(2).
