CBR-D operations require many unique facility attributes, including configuration (e.g., high ceilings, unique floor layouts), construction (e.g. heavy-duty foundations, thick walls), support equipment (e.g., cranes, elevators), and utilities (e.g., air conditioning, heating, Bio-Safety Level 3 laboratory separated sewer system).
