A. Start submittal process immediately upon contract award by the Board of Education. Actual work on site shall not commence until May 13, 2021. B. Substantial Completion 1. The work at the main stadium, including new synthetic turf by Owner, track replacement, and miscellaneous site components shall be substantially complete by August 13, 2021. 2. The work at the practice field, including new synthetic turf by Owner, fencing, scoreboard, and miscellaneous site components shall be substantially complete by October 15, 2021. This project includes the placement of free draining, select aggregate material(s), an extensive subsurface drainage system and finish grading to exacting tolerance levels. Due to the unusually strict tolerances required in grading and placement of materials, and due to the Owners need to have the facility complete as early as possible, this project will be constructed under unusually rigid guidelines and schedule. Therefore, the excavator performing work directly related to the StadiumTurf Field (within the running track) and Practice Turf Field must demonstrate specific technical expertise and ability to adhere to a tight time line. Also, the excavator must have sufficient manpower and specialized equipment to complete this project within the required time. Below, list not less than two (2) projects your organization has successfully completed within the past eight (8) years involving a High Performance sports field and high-tolerance finish grading utilizing laser guided equipment, or equivalent means. At least one (1) of the two projects must have involved a synthetic turf system (similar to that specified for this project).
