Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Penticton, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a five-story above grade, 28-unit, 15-space multi-residential development; and office development.
The Development Consultant is seeking qualified Construction Managers, on behalf of the Owner, for the Project described more fully below (see 1.2.1). The purpose of this RFQ is to determine if there are qualified Construction Managers for the Project. This is a pre-qualification stage in the procurement process. Only those Proponents who successfully respond to the RFQ and meet the qualification criteria will be included in the subsequent RFP solicitation process, if any. M'akola Housing Society (MHS) is developing a 5-storey, wood-frame mixed-use building consisting of one, two and three-bedroom units with a common outdoor courtyard for residents on the second floor and ground floor office space and tuck-under building parking. MHS will have an on-site regional office space on the main floor to support the Society's growing housing portfolio in the Okanagan region. The new development will bring 28 units of affordable housing to the Penticton area for Indigenous families, seniors and individuals.
