As of December 21, 2022, information regarding the award has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Board of Chosen Freeholders of the County of Warren, New Jersey, wish to develop a pool of qualified bridge and culvert design professionals for use on various anticipated projects over the next two years as funding becomes available and on emergency projects as needed. The Qualification Statements will be submitted and evaluated specific to each category for three design categories as follows: Category 1 - Reconstruction of Major Bridges (greater than 20' span to 150' span) with construction costs in the range of $500,000 to $2,000,000 or greater Category 2 - Reconstruction of Minor Bridges (5' span to 20' span) Category 3 - Restoration, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of historic steel truss and stone arch bridges Funding for these projects will be with County and State aid funding only. The Qualification Statements and consultant pools will be in effect for a maximum of two years from the date established. The County reserves the right to adjust a firm's rating if there is a change in personnel. The Consultant must carry Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000. The Consultant shall maintain sufficient worker's compensation, general liability, and automobile insurance which shall be subject to the approval by the County for adequacy of protection. Certificates of insurance will be provided to the County upon request. If awarded a contract for an individual project, the Consultant agrees to indemnify and save harmless the County from suits or actions of every nature and description brought against it for or on account of any injuries or damages received or sustained by any party or parties due to any negligent acts of the Consultant, his servants or agents. Award of individual contracts will be made by the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders on a project by project basis.
