Bids were over budget. As of April 23, 2024, this project was never completed. This is not planned to go back out for rebid in the near future due to budget concerns. Bids shall be made in triplicate. Each bid must be furnished on the proposal sheets included in the Contract Documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to: Tracy Lizardi, Purchasing, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, NJ and plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the Contract Number and Title. Bids will be held and opened at the above specified time and date. No bids are to be sent via regular mail. Certified mail or hand delivery will be accepted. The City of Asbury Park is not responsible for late delivery by any courier service. This contract will be awarded by the City through a public bidding process complying with the requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. as well as with the New Jersey Local Unit Pay-to-Play Law, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et. seq. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964. During the performance of this contract the Contractor agrees to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27). all requirements of Affirmative Action N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., all requirements of the State of New Jersey Worker Health and Safety Act (N.J.A.C. 12:110 et seq.) as amended and the United States Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) (29 CFR 1910), as amended with regard to worker and jobsite safety.
