Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in La Loche, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a 59,700-square-foot, two-story above grade, 475-seat educational facility.
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 (NLSD) and the Government of Saskatchwan (GOS) are proceeding with the development of the Ducharme Elementary School. NLSD and the GOS are soliciting written responses throuogh this Request for Pre-Qualification from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Project. PROJECT SUMMARY 1. Project construction is expected to begin in November 2022 and be prepared for opening in Fall 2024. 2. The facility is approximately 5,500 square meters, and will hold classes for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1 through 6, with an opening enrollment of 475 students. 3. Anticipated project complexities include: a. Mobilization and accessibility to this project's remote location b.
