Renovation of a civil project in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Inquiries must be received by 1:00 p.m., February 1, 2021, in order to be considered. All posted addenda must be signed and accompany any bid submitted, failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Contact initiated by a bidder concerning this solicitation with any other City representative, not expressly authorized elsewhere in this document, is prohibited. Any such unauthorized contact may result in disqualification of the bidder. A Procurement Office staff member will physically respond to the main entrance to receive the proposals and time stamp them at that time. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder/Offeror to ensure their bid/proposals are time stamped prior to the deadline for submission. Please allow additional time to ensure this is done. As always, late bids/proposals will not be considered. This project will include stripping the existing paint and repainting the interior of the 10.5 MG water storage tank at College Hill and the Lime Silo #2 at the wastewater treatment plant. The work will also include pressure washing three existing finished water tanks to remove algae buildup. The duration of the project is scheduled for 120 days starting in late April 2021.
