Only firms that have been pre-qualified will be eligible to submit bids for this project. The work shall include the following: The 23-acre project site houses the existing Wastewater Collection Division facility that shall remain operational during construction. The construction will require phasing and demolition of selective site elements, including the removal of a decommissioned concrete production plant, and an existing two-story facility. New construction shall include the construction of a two-story multi-use, approximately 100,000 square foot office and administrative building that will be occupied by the Wastewater Collection, Maintenance and Stormwater Management, Wastewater Planning and Monitoring, and Stormwater Planning Divisions. The office building and the site will include sustainability and educational components. The new construction and site work will also include approximately 68.800 square feet of ancillary buildings to house maintenance shops, covered material storage. enclosed parking. vehicle wash, salt and brine, equipment storage, and a fuel island. The site work shall include paving, parking, stormwater management, utility distribution, and site improvements. The project is designed to achieve a LEED gold certification under the latest LEED Green Building Program. Project sustainability features include, but are not limited to, green roofs, water reuse, and a geothermal system. This is a lump sum Contract. The total contract duration is 1,217 calendar days.
