McMillen, LLC (dba McMillen Jacobs Associates) has been contracted by the City of Post Falls, Idaho under a Construction Manager/General Contractor agreement, for the construction of the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Outfall Replacement - Phase 1 project. The project consists of the installation of a new buried outfall pipeline under the Spokane River to serve the City WRF. The new WRF outfall line includes approximately 400 linear feet of pipeline parallel to and upstream from the existing outfall. The work begins at Lundy Boulevard and continues south to the discharge point in the Spokane River (approximately 85 linear feet beyond the ordinary high-watermark). The existing outfall shall remain in place and in service during the construction of the new outfall line. Fittings and valves will connect the new and existing outfall pipeline allowing multiple points of discharge from the WRF. Contractor will request and require the awarded bidder to supply a performance and payment bond for these works. Cost of the bond is to be included in the bidders proposed pricing Bidding documents for the work have been prepared by J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. (J-U-B). The construction document set, drawings and specifications, to be used for all bidding purposes is the Issued for Construction (IFC) set dated 12/11/2020.
